Eric Columber

PRESIDENT

Eric Columber
Ellsworth has been the place I’ve chosen to practice for the lion’s share of my legal career. I believe in Ellsworth’s vibrant downtown, not only for its economic importance but its social and artistic potential as well.  I would love to see even more art and music in Ellsworth! I’ve watched Heart of Ellsworth help expand business growth and promote its cultural and social missions and am proud to volunteer and bring my voice to this spirited organization.
— Eric Columber

Eric moved to Hancock County in 2007 and has practiced law in downtown Ellsworth ever since. In 2017 he established his own firm, Columber Law, just off Main Street, to continue serving this area. He has volunteered for several local organizations including the Downeast YMCA and Ellsworth Community Music Institute, and also served as the Maine State Bar Association President in 2019.

When not practicing law, Eric enjoys time with his wife, two children, and whoodle (Hopscotch), playing guitar, and attempting to become a better fly fisher on our local waters.
