NEW THIS YEAR - PLEASE NOTE: The Cider Bazaar tasting event will take place inside the Festival Market at Merrill Park. A roped-off section of the market will play host to festival  attendees who are 21+. Tasting tickets can be PURCHASED ONSITE for one 1.5 oz taste of each cider type.  All cider makers participating are able to sell 4 and 6 packs direct to festival attendees 21+ to take home.

Ellsworth POLLING LOCATIONS
•Ward One Upstairs Auditorium at Ellsworth City Hall, 1 City Hall Plaza, and covers the entire downtown area on the east of the Union River.
•Ward Two Your Place Community Center, 4 Old Mill Road, behind Sunrise Glass
•Ward Three Gymnasium at the Maine Coast Baptist Church, 867 Bangor Road, on Route 1A and covers north Ellsworth.
•Ward Four Council Chambers at Ellsworth City Hall, 1 City Hall Plaza, and covers the Bridge Hill area west of the Union River.

In our 7th year of supporting community and economic development in Downtown, the Heart of Ellsworth seeks to strengthen our downtown through initiatives like our Downtown Grants program, development of The Union River WalkWater Street Mural project and our latest project Asset Mapping Downtown. In addition to these new initiatives we work to:   
  • Market Ellsworth locally, statewide & regionally
  • Offer experiences to attract new audiences, bring people together for conversation, entertainment, cultural enrichment & fun
  • Partner with businesses & non-profits fostering a sense of place
  • Involve community members in meaningful & fun volunteer opportunities

Veterans Day Tribute w/Danny Harper - The Grand

Friday, November 11: Doors open 5pm | Concert starts 6pm

The Danny Harper Band and the Color Guard from VFW #109 take the Stanley Subaru Stage on November 11th to honor our veterans and active military. The concert starts at 6:00 PM, November 11th with the doors opening at 5:00 PM.

Turkey Trot - Woodlawn Museum

Friday, November 25: 8:30am check-in

Work off your Thanksgiving meal with a trot around the trails at Woodlawn! Runners start at 9am, walkers at 9:15. Register in person starting at 8:30 or online, first 100 to register get a neck gaiter and all proceeds go toward improving and maintaining the trails.

Ellsworth Bike Party

Sunday, November 27: 3-4pm


Ellsworth Bike Party rides the last Sunday of every month, year-round, meeting at 3pm in front of City Hall in Downtown Ellsworth. The 1-hour bicycle rides are a fun, easy pace around town. All are welcome!
