Jane's Walk Partnership Event - May 7
 
Jane’s Walks combine the simple act of exploring a place with personal observations, local history, and civic engagement. Join us on May 7 as we explore downtown Ellsworth in partnership with the Ellsworth Historical Society and Downeast Trout Unlimited with sponsorship support from Flexit Cafe for the first Annual Jane’s Walk in downtown Ellsworth.

*The best kind of "cookie" notice...;)
 All participants will receive a voucher for a free coffee and cookie redeemable at Flexit Cafe on Saturday, May 7th, during business hours (6:30am - 3:00pm)

Downtown Mural Update - Onion Foundation Support

We are proud to announce our Water Street mural project is now supported [in part] by a grant from the Onion Foundation! 

SAVE THE DATE on June 25 for an on-site all-ages dance party, meet mural artist Judy Taylor and be part of an interactive process to inform the subject matter of the mural. More details are coming soon!

Yoga Nidra for Deep Relaxation- Healthy Acadia

Thursday, May 5: 5-6pm


Join Healthy Acadia for a relaxing and restorative hour of tai chi practice with Tai Chi for Health Institute Senior Trainer Nina Zeldin. In this introductory session, we’ll explore basic tai chi principles and movements from three of tai chi’s most popular styles - Chen, Yang, and Sun. Tai Chi for Health exercises are suitable for people of all ages and physical abilities.

Open Mic Nights - Fogtown Brewing

Thursdays thru May 19: Signs up start at 5:30pm

We have a full band set up, including drums, bass, electric and acoustic guitars, two mics, a floor monitor, two mains and a PA. There will be plenty of hands on deck if you’re looking for accompaniment. We’re open from 4-8pm, and will be serving our wood-fired pizzas along with our recent beer releases.

A women's group for supporting pregnant & postpartum mamas - This holistic circle is for supporting pregnant women as they approach their birth ceremony, and holding space for postpartum women in their full experience. This circle is open to all women to share in the joys & vulnerabilities of the motherhood continuum.
