As part of this year’s Art of Ellsworth | Maine Craft Weekend, Heart of Ellsworth is proud to present a special exhibition celebrating the creativity and dedication of Hancock County Art Educators. This show highlights the work of the hARTrocks Group, a collective of local art teachers who bring inspiration, skill, and passion into classrooms every day while continuing to cultivate their own artistic practices. Educators play a vital role in shaping the cultural fabric of our communities—guiding students to explore creativity, self-expression, and problem-solving through the arts. This exhibition provides a rare opportunity for the community to experience the artistic voices of these teachers themselves, showcasing the depth and diversity of their talent across media and style. By lifting up the work of the hARTrocks group, Heart of Ellsworth honors both the impact these educators have on their students and the vital contributions they make as artists in their own right.
