This March, we are dedicating each week to meeting one of our four committees. We are starting with the Organization Committee, the group that makes sure the “how” is as strong as the “why.”

This position represents the first dedicated staff role focused on implementing and coordinating programming at 16 State Street. As programming expands and earned revenue grows, the scope and hours of this role are designed to grow as well.

Originally scheduled for March 1, rescheduling to May 3 allows us to prioritize safety while also setting the stage for an even stronger evening in partnership with Provender Kitchen + Bar.

This ticketed event will benefit Heart of Ellsworth and support the organization’s ongoing work to strengthen downtown through community events, revitalization projects, and strategic partnerships.

With more than 50 community leaders, partners, and members gathered in the room, the energy reflected a shared commitment to this work.

This small February campaign is our way of saying thank you to the people who show up for downtown Ellsworth, especially in the quieter weeks of winter.

This relaxed, community centered evening includes light refreshments, time to connect with our board, volunteers, and staff, and a short presentation highlighting 2025 progress and what’s ahead in 2026!
