This is more than a part-time job, it’s an opportunity to help shape the future of downtown Ellsworth.
You’ll help coordinate workshops, exhibitions, rentals, and community events while supporting local artists, entrepreneurs, and youth programming. This is the first dedicated staff role for the Makerspace, and as programming grows, the role is designed to grow with it.
If you’re organized, community-minded, and excited about creative entrepreneurship, we’d love to hear from you.
Three Courses for Community: An Evening of Food for Fundraising has been postponed due to unpredictable winter weather and is rescheduled for Sunday, May 3.
Rescheduling to May 3 allows the organization to prioritize safety while also setting the stage for an even stronger evening in partnership with Provender. This event is about showing up for downtown Ellsworth in a meaningful way, and the additional time ensures it can be done with intention and impact.
Put it on the calendar, purchase ahead, and consider it your spring night out that does some good.
Volunteer to Lead a Jane's Walk on Saturday May 2nd
Anyone can lead a walk. If you’ve got curiosity and a route, you’ve got a Jane’s Walk!
Maybe your walk is about the trees and plants around downtown, the best coffee and pastry stops, a pizza themed stroll, local ghost stories, or a fun facts and hidden history route.
If any of that sparked something or you've got an idea of your own, take a minute to visit our website where you’ll find the walk leader interest form and the Jane’s Walk fact sheet.
