Gelatin Printing: Holiday Cards, Tags, Ornaments & More
Instructor: Karin Otto
Hosted by: Heart of Ellsworth
(10 participant limit)
Celebrate the season with creativity and color! Join us for a festive, hands-on workshop exploring the playful world of gelatin printing, an easy, at-home monoprinting technique that produces unique, layered designs every time.
Using a gelatin printing plate, acrylic inks, and a few simple mark-making tools, you’ll create one-of-a-kind holiday cards, tags, ornaments, and other printed treasures. No printmaking experience is needed, just a sense of curiosity and the joy of experimentation!
We’ll explore techniques for texture, layering, and stenciling to capture your own creative style. You’ll go home with a small collection of handmade pieces perfect for sharing (or keeping for yourself!).
All materials are provided, including your gelatin plate, brayer, inks, and white card stock. Feel free to bring a few items from home like leaves, lace, string, or textured papers, and color card paper, to personalize your prints.
 Date: Saturday Nov. 29, 10-1PM
Location: 2nd Floor 16 State Street @Heart of Ellsworth
 Duration: 10-1PM
 Cost: $45
For ages 12 and up. Spots are limited so register soon!
Join us for a few joyful hours of printmaking and leave with holiday keepsakes as unique as you are.
