Viewed from the Union River looking up toward High Street, the postcard captures buildings that were later lost in the fire of 1933, making this image one of the few surviving views of Main Street from that period. The puzzle was created by Heart of Ellsworth in recognition of America’s 250th anniversary and Ellsworth’s place in that larger national story.
