Help create the glowing wire spheres that will bring light and color to downtown Ellsworth throughout the holiday season! During this free, hands-on community workshop, participants will work alongside members of Heart of Ellsworth’s Design Committee to shape chicken wire, add stabilizing supports, and prepare festive spheres for lights. No previous experience is needed. This approachable workshop is a chance to learn something new, meet fellow community members, and contribute directly to a public art installation enjoyed by downtown visitors throughout the holidays and into the New Year. Materials will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring wire cutters, pliers, and a pair of protective work gloves.
