The Schoodic International Sculpture Symposium (SISS), Heart of Ellsworth and project partners invite the community to a ribbon cutting celebrating the permanent installation of Celeste Roberge’s Chaise Gabion on the Ellsworth Public Library lawn.

Chaise Gabion is the first sculpture purchased for the developing Union River Sculpture Trail, marking an important step toward a lasting collection of public art along Ellsworth’s riverfront. The ceremony will recognize Roberge, SISS, project partners, funders and the community support helping bring the trail’s larger vision to life. Wednesday, September 30, from 2 - 3 p.m. Free and open to the public.
