Process to Public Sculpture invites visitors behind the scenes with artists of the Schoodic International Sculpture Symposium. Through maquettes, sketches, drawings, photographs, storyboards, tools and other working materials, the exhibition will reveal how ideas are explored, developed and transformed into public sculpture.

Presented in partnership with Heart of Ellsworth, SISS and Frenchman Bay Conservancy, the exhibition will also build upon the vision for the developing Union River Sculpture Trail and help build support for its continued growth along the Union River.

The public opening will be held Thursday, October 1, from 5–8 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through October 23 during gallery hours: Wednesdays from 10 a.m.–2 p.m., Fridays from 3–6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Free and open to the public.
